Jet2.com purchased the existing maintenance hangar in 2016 and set about refurbishing it to modern standards by upgrading the main hangar space with modern finishes and lighting.
The associated workshops and bonded stores were adapted to suit the operators specific needs. Around 7000sqft of office space was also provided as ancillary business support. The primary challenge for Cunniff Design was designing and delivering a building in a 'controlled airside' designation, which demands very specific security controls.
