SOYO Block D Submitted for Planning

The planning application has now been submitted for SOYO Block D, the latest phase of the SOYO development in the cultural quarter of Leeds.

Roscoe are the civil and structural engineers for the scheme, with the proposals seeking to bring 291 student beds to SOYO. The high quality student accommodation will include a mixture of studio and cluster apartments, a 24-hr gym, dedicated study and collaborations spaces, and roof-top gardens.

Block D will use low-carbon energy sources, with the building aiming to complement other parts of the SOYO development and complete a further section of the wider landscape scheme, including a feature pocket park zone.

Once finished SOYO Leeds is set to deliver over one million sqft of residential, retail and leisure space, as well as some of the largest landscaped open spaces in the city.
