Roscoe have been appointed to deliver the design and detailing of the precast concrete elements for Cambridge Cancer Research Hospital on behalf of Main Contractor, Laing O'Rourke. The hospital is expected to revolutionise cancer diagnosis and treatment, transforming the lives of millions of cancer patients with three new ground-breaking research institutes, focused on accelerating the early detection of cancer and delivering precision cancer treatment.
The seven-storey facility will have 77 single rooms for patients and will bring doctors and scientists together all under one roof. Construction on this DfMA project is due to start next year, with opening scheduled for 2029.
