Self Architects are thrilled to have secured full planning permission for our client on this exciting new residential development in central Sheffield that will create 83 new apartments across two blocks. Working closely with the project team, the proposal will generate a 70% uplift in Biodiversity across the site (integrated with a unique Sustainable Urban Drainage system) - a huge achievement that will benefit plant and wildlife in the vicinity and minimise surface water runoff.
Working within a tightly constrained site, Self was able to produce a scheme that maximised the building footprint whilst respectfully responding to the surroundings. We look forward to seeing it progress in the future.
