Planning Permission for Cape House Redevelopment

Planning permission has been secured to redevelop the vacant Cape House at Wakefield 41 Business Park into state-of-the-art headquarters for Caddick Construction Group. Designed by DLA Architecture, the new office will incorporate a two-storey extension, glazed front extension with double height atrium reception, café space, open-plan office space, meeting rooms and break-out areas.

The extensive refurbishment to repurpose and modernise the building, which will see the size increase from 11,000sq ft to 15,000sq ft, will also include a range of measures to enhance sustainability with the installation of renewable energy technologies.

Roscoe are providing the civil and structural engineering services, with building work expected to start imminently and completion scheduled for early 2024.
