An opportunity exists for a Building Surveyor to join our Sheffield office as a trainee building surveyor to work on instructions and projects in the Commercial, Residential and Retail sectors throughout the UK. Successful candidates will be trained as a building surveyor in both pre and post contract delivery of a diverse range of instructions, develop excellent communication skills with all levels of staff both internally and within client organisations. A great team and work ethic are essential.
Candidates should have a degree in Building Surveying. The candidate will be encouraged and supported to work towards professional qualifications including APM, iMaPS or other PD/CDM-C qualifications e.g. NEBOSH as part of career development.

University based knowledge in both Professional and Construction Services
Interest in wide range of project related services including Contract Administration, Project Management etc. and Professional Services such as Building Surveys, PD/CDM, Schedules of Condition, Dilapidations, Party Walls etc.
Delivery of work outputs within set time frames and commercial goals
Commitment, enthusiasm, and a strong work ethic
Team player capable of a flexible approach
Strong IT capabilities including working experience of Microsoft Office and Tablet & Mobile data collection
Full time (Monday – Friday), 37.5 hours per week.
