The MARKET TABLE in London will offer 2,000 products across 11 different areas in the flagship 4,000 sq. ft. store next to the 02 Arena.
Alongside a 56-seat restaurant, there will be four different prepared food counters, a bespoke Espresso programme, fresh baked products, a delicatessen, specially sourced seasonal produce and exclusive pantry items from in and around the UK and Ireland.
MARKET TABLE Owner Operator John Barton has 30 years retail and hospitality experience and was previously Chief Operating Officer for iconic New York food brand DEAN & DELUCA. He said:
“MARKET TABLE will bring an exciting hospitality and food shopping experience not yet seen in London. We want to create an environment that excites all the senses and, working closely with the English, Welsh, Scottish and Irish Food Boards, we will champion seasonal produce with a menu that celebrates our food heritage whilst also embracing international cuisines.”
Self Architects and White Design, who have a growing hospitality and retail portfolio, will design the showcase MARKET TABLE store which will serve the growing office and residential populations as well as domestic and international visitors.
This first MARKET TABLE will also offer books, gifts and flowers and is expected to open next summer with plans for a further 10 stores across London by 2023.
